St. Anne Centre Auxiliary

St. Anne Centre cares for our elderly and offers health and emergency services in our region. All monies gathered through the efforts of the campaign go directly to St. Anne Centre to improve those services through the purchase of much needed equipment for the centre, patients and the residents.   As a community, we really are “Working Together Towards Excellence in Health and Wellness”.

St. Anne Centre  Auxiliary

The St. Anne Centre  Auxiliary is a skillful, dynamic and dedicated volunteer group comprised of community members who fund raise to support St. Anne Centre in its service to the residents of Isle Madame, Louisdale and surrounding communities.
The Auxiliary, in cooperation with the Board of Directors of St. Anne Centre, develop new ideas to assist management of the Centre to enhance the quality of health care and comfort for residents of the nursing home and clients of the outpatient department.
During the month of September volunteer canvassers carry out a door to door campaign. The generous response of the community enables the Auxiliary to purchase equipment for the outpatient department and the nursing home.

The St. Anne Centre Ladies Auxiliary Heliport is one example of the great efforts of a small group and what they can accomplish. The Auxiliary recognized the community need for emergency medical evacuation by air ambulance, and in conjunction with the Board of Directors of St. Anne Centre, responded to the need. The Auxiliary maintained a close association throughout the development of the project and raised the money towards its completion. THis year the Auxiliary has decided on a name change -no longer the Ladies Auxiliary in order to attract men and women to the group.

The Auxiliary welcomes new members who want to make a difference in their community.
